If you’re looking for a friendly afternoon out or know someone who would enjoy a little company then Befriended warmly invites you to our popular monthly tea party, held on the third Sunday of every month from 3pm to 5pm at Court Bushes Community Hub, on Willow Way.

Befriended is a local charity with the mission of ending loneliness and isolation among older people across Sussex. Our tea parties are a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, enjoy good conversation and become part of a welcoming community.

Each afternoon includes a fun quiz, delicious homemade afternoon tea, birthday celebrations for those marking their birthday that month and live entertainment to keep everyone smiling. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you’ll receive a warm welcome.

There is a suggested donation of £5, which helps us continue providing these much-loved community gatherings and supporting older people who may be feeling lonely or isolated.
