Councillor Vacancy
Are you looking to contribute to your community? The Parish Council has a vacancy for a co-opted councillor within the Hurstpierpoint Ward and is looking for a new member. For this unpaid role you will need to be a team player focussed on seeking to improve the quality of life for residents, visitors and businesses in Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common.
Ideally, we are looking for somebody with expertise or interest in planning, finance or nature recovery and conservation land management. However, anyone is welcome to apply. Come and join us at an interesting time, with changes to local government and increased pressure for building development and resultant effects on the countryside amongst the challenges we face locally.
For further information please contact the Parish Council Office, come along to one of our meetings or chat to us at our stall at the Fair. The advert will be published in late June with an aim to fill the vacancy in the Autumn.

New bins
Using Section 106 Developer funds, three new larger bins have been installed at the Village Garden, in South Avenue and outside the Village Centre in Trinity Road. Please do make use of these to help keep our village clean and tidy.
