2023/24 Parish Council Finances and Grants

Despite the continuing challenging financial climate, the Parish Council has focussed on ensuring that our facilities and services such as play parks, community buildings, open spaces and public toilets etc. are fit for use and available; whilst also investing in upgrading those facilities and services.

The challenge has been exacerbated by a spate of unwelcome vandalism across the estate, especially at the Court Bushes Community Hub. In recent weeks, that site has also suffered a fire and then a burst water pipe. It is a credit to both the efforts of the Parish Council and Kiddie Capers staff that the impact on the community has been minimised, but any further vandalism will undoubtedly result in an increase in Council Tax in due course.
