Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Parish Council newsletter - March 2023

Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Community Forum
The first Community Forum took place on 26th January in partnership with Mid-Sussex Voluntary Action (MSVA). This was planned as a follow-up to the very successful Annual Parish Meeting. Many of the groups who attended had found the net-working opportunities this had provided really useful and requested further events to build on these. The Forum had a funding theme with information available from Sussex Community Foundation, Clarion Futures, the Parish Council and MSVA on grants available to community groups and how to access them. Tea and coffee were provided by the Melting Pot Café and time was allocated for informal net-working after the speakers. Thank you to all who attended this very positive event, including our speakers and the Melting Pot volunteers.
