Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Parish Council Newsletter - May 2022

Kirsty Warren
April 22, 2022

No Mow May

We will be supporting Plantlife’s annual campaign which encourages gardeners to leave the mower in the shed and allow the flowers in our lawns and grassland to grow to provide food for pollinators. For further information see the Plantlife or Hurst Rethink websites.

Skylark Alert in Hurst Meadows!

The skylarks are nesting on the ground in Hurst Meadows. Please stay on the paths and keep your dog close by so that these beautiful but endangered birds are not disturbed.

To read the full newsletter please click to enlarge the pictures or grab a copy of May’s Hurst Life.
